March 11  |  The Story of Indigo

Muriel Pfaff presents voices of the past set in colonial South Carolina and portrays the story of indigo as seen through the eyes of Eliza Pickney.

Muriel Pfaff, also known as The Quilt Teacher, lives in Marietta, Georgia, where she teaches a wide variety of quilting classes at quilt shops all around the Atlanta area.  She travels throughout the Southeast conducting quilting workshops, and lecturing for quilt guilds and other groups interested in famous women in history, Besides historical information, her lecture programs include authentic reproduction costumes, food samples from the era, and a trunk show of quilts.
